In the ring, "GOAT" is not a slogan: it is the title that athletes earn for themselves. "Greatest Of All Time" is an expression born and bred within sport, and LEONE 1947 uses it to identify the glove built for those who train at the highest level.

GOAT is born from nearly 70 years of experience in designing boxing gloves and introduces an evolved construction system: advanced knuckle protection and superior wrist stability, without ever compromising the natural closing of the fist.

Multilayer protection with different densities

The heart of the glove is an internal structure that combines multiple padding densities to progressively distribute and dissipate impact energy. The protection is not concentrated in a single layer: every level works in sequence, following a precise logic.

The result is an immediate feeling of solidity upon contact, with a glove that remains compact and reactive on the bag, focus mitts, and in sparring. Not an overly soft glove. Not an overly rigid glove. A glove built to strike hard while maintaining control and protecting the athlete's hand.

Progressive Wrist Lock

The wrist is the most critical element in the design of a glove, and this is where the GOAT makes a real difference.

The support structure is extended and wrap-around, fully accompanying the wrist and forearm, creating a sensation of progressive lock: the hand remains free to move, the wrist stays where it is.

Ergonomic fit

Form follows the hand

Compact and anatomical shape, designed based on the natural conformation of the hand. The internal geometry reduces empty space between the hand and the glove: the fist closes sooner, with less effort in clenching, and the feel is more precise and snug.

The design accompanies natural movement from the guard position through to impact. A glove designed for those seeking compactness, stability, and reactivity.

Thumb protection

The thumb is part of the system

The thumb is integrated into the ergonomic design and kept naturally adherent to the glove structure. It improves protection, control, and ergonomics, with a direct benefit to safety in sparring. The compact construction completes the protection system without adding bulk.
