Guide for Trainers: Choosing LABoxe Equipment
Leone1947 has always worked closely with trainers from various combat disciplines. Leveraging their vast field experience, products are constantly tested and innovated.
Thanks to the synergy between the trainers' expertise and the LABoxe design department, comfortable, safe, and high-performance products are created. The new collection divides trainer protections into two distinct philosophies: Power Line and Speed Line.
1. POWER LINE (Gold/Black)
Products designed for training pure power. Substantial padding, high density, and strong closures are the main features, accompanied by golden details that evoke prestige and performance.
GM430 - Punch Shield
Thanks to its massive padding, it absorbs and disperses the impact of the punch. The two practical handles allow the trainer to move the target while maintaining a firm grip even on KO blows.
GM411 - "No Shock" Focus Mitts
Rounded design with ANTI-SHOCK technology. The internal air vacuum dampens vibrations, protecting the trainer's elbows and shoulders from inflammation.
GM440 - Abdominal Protector Belt
Essential for safe body work. Wide Velcro closure for maximum stability.
GM431 - Large Curved Shield
Curved shield for powerful kicks and knees. The anti-shock padding provides total protection.
GM441 - Full Torso Protection
The ultimate "body armor." Lightweight yet durable, it offers total torso protection. Anatomical shape, multi-layer padding, and practical "easy click" closure.
2. SPEED LINE (Gold/Black)
Designed for training speed and reflexes. More compact and lighter targets, for quick and precise movements. Ideal for working on rhythm and fast combinations.
GM510 - Mini Curved Mitts
Micro-leather mitts ("paddles") for precise absorption. Essential for refining boxing technique and eye-hand coordination.
GM530 - Speed Curved Shield
Lighter version of the curved shield, perfect for dynamic sessions where the trainer needs to move a lot.
GM520 - Long Focus Mitts (Thai)
Ideal for punch-kick and elbow-knee combinations. Born from the experience of Thai masters, they offer extended forearm protection.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
The Power Line (Gold) has denser and heavier padding to absorb very powerful single blows. The Speed Line (Silver/Red) focuses on lightness and smaller dimensions to allow the trainer rapid movements, ideal for working on reflexes.
Curved mitts are generally preferred because they better cradle the punch, preventing it from slipping, and put less strain on the trainer's wrist. Flat mitts are more specific to certain traditional styles.
No, it is available in two sizes (S/M and L/XL). Thanks to the adjustable back straps, it perfectly adapts to the trainer's build, and can also be worn over winter clothing.
It is a system present in the GM411 gloves that creates an air cushion inside the padding. This dissipates impact energy much better than foam alone, drastically reducing stress on the trainer's elbows and shoulders.
As they are tools subjected to intense sweat, they should be cleaned after each session with a damp cloth and a specific antibacterial spray (such as AC982). Never leave them closed in the damp gym bag.
They are ideal for experienced boxers. Being very small targets, they force the athlete to maximum precision and concentration. They are not suitable for working on pure power.
